Hello All I am Nicole and Im fighting a CPS case against me falsely accusing me of severe neglect. I am being accused of giving my two children medical cannabis brownies . My kids tested negative but I am still having to take the case to trial. I am afraid because of the manipulation within the family court system to take a plea and be put on the child abuse index list and give San Diego a "true finding'. I am so scared to go to trial but I can not accept their accusations I am a loving mother and have cared for my oldest child for 11 years and for my daughter for 5years. I can not allow this injustice to continue within CPS and the Family Court it has to stop and I am so glad to find a site like this to have some support in this trying time of my life

Hi Nicole, I understand how scary, stressful, intrusive and totally enraging CPS is on a good parent. I've had custody of my two since 96 and as soon as my youngest turned 12 the ex leveled all sorts of false accusations (she wanted live in baby sitters). Of course the CPS feminazi was more than happy to try and effect a change of custody. Anyway I been through it and it sucks!!! But I was able to fend them off. Here are some rules and advice for dealing with CPS 1) They are LIARS !!!! To any parent the scariest words in the world are "Hi, I'm from CPS I'm here to help." They are investigators bound by the same laws as a cop and you don't have to let them in without a search warrant. 2) They are CRIMINALS.... The most useful thing I did was make the time to look up and learn the law governing CPS. Like the time they have to complete an investigation, if you don't know it they will keep harassing you until they find something. My favorite is the hoop list, the list of BS the caseworker comes up with for you to do at your expense. Just above were you sign it says if you fail to sign CPS may remove the child from the home. Who the hell's the real terrorist they just threatened children and invalidated the contract by putting you in duress. I could bitch about CPS for days, this may be easier if you tell us what happening. Your in CA, a lot of heat on CPS there. I can help you find the laws, but I bet there not much different than WA. Like the 90 day investigation. let us know.
