I hear ya jp, but I must fallow your path and the only way up and out is through the bog that is the court system. If you've tangled with CSE you'll under stand, most of the men & women we've tried to help, me included, are destitute and they want to keep us that way, so we can't fight back. CSE/DCS (WA) in my case has even taken CS that was to go to me for my kids, but I have time to get after them. The school and the officers of the court have provided me with an opportunity to get my feet wet and I won't pass it up even if it cost a kidney. So it maybe a few yrs. before you hear of the new guy from WA that just doesn't play well with other in the status quo litter box. I can just see my explanation, " No your honor that is not a giant piece of almond roca, it's the other senator. Ya see she introduced an unconstitutional bill and I admit filling her office with kitty litter may have been a little over the top but........well she wanted to dump on our rights, just thought every thing in it place."

"Pro se" means to self represent, as in be thy own Lawyer. The professional Lawyers are in cahoots with the Courts, and the Lawyers will smile as they rip off the defendant parents. Even the more honest and decent of Lawyers will betray anyone as it is built into the system and the mentality. And it is impossible to pay enough money that the Lawyer will truly defend any parent against the Child Support system. The Lawyers will put on a show of concern and they will talk the stuff but the defendant parents are there to be trampled. Pro se is hard to do - but it can be done, and it needs to be done. Another reason why we need to fight as our own Attorney is because a parent's only defense is to fight against the law and not under the law. Under the law then Child Support must be paid and Custody must be ordered, so against the law means saying "no" as in - no the Child Support does NOT need to be paid and the Custody does not need to be ordered. The Custody laws are equivalent to stealing the children (kidnapping the children) away from one of the parents, and then the Child Support is like ransom money being paid to the kidnappers or else the parent will never see their children again. The Child Support and Custody laws are fundamentally evil, and as such the "under-the-law" means the families get destroyed and the parents are trashed and the children become alienated, and it needs to be fought.
