Written by Matt Willoughby (RALEIGH) -- A state Senate bill that would have allowed child support to continue through college is stalled in a House committee. The Senate approved the legislation but it ran into opposition in the House Juvenile Justice Committee. Senator John Snow, a retired judge, proposed continuing court ordered child support payments until the age of 21 if the child was in college. He said some parents would do that voluntarily but not many. His bill would have allowed the payments to go directly to the child. Because of opposition Senator Snow agree to pull the bill and leave it on the table in committee www.ncnn.com/content/view/4480/26/
Does anyone know exactly what bill this is?
