I am currently a law student interested in equal rights for parents regarding custody. I feel that the judicial system is not up to date and that over the decades, along with everything else, it need to be re-introduced to fit in with modernization. I have been thinking long and hard about introducing a few new propositions that will not only help Fathers excercise their rights but will also benefit the well being of the child. After all, as a divorced MOTHER of 2, I know the importance of my childrens' father to be in the picture. I have never nor will never deny my childrens' father his legal and biological right. I also dont believe in abusing child support. Both parents should be intitled to be able to provide a comfortable living arrangement for themselves and their children. If anyone would like information or wants to comment on this post PLEASE feel free, I am fighting for YOUR rights, after all they are YOUR children too.

Thanks for signing up here tbilbay74, its great to have you here and I love it when warrior mothers are involved to protect the rights of children and families. It has always been my theory that it's going to take alot more than a group of screwed over men to create changes in these messed up systems, its going to take all of Us! such as fathers, mothers, grandparents, aunts uncles, cousins.........the whole fam damily!
This is not a gender problem we all are dealing with, it is a family problem. Yes, many women get the upperhand in alot of court cases in family court but it is more than just the father most times taking the punch in the face and heart, it is the children! and the extended family that gets hurt too.
I could write on and on about how important I think it is for men AND women to come together along with the extended family members to rally and change laws together.
Thanks again for joining and feel free to use the board to your liking and post away!
If you have any questions about the site or want some caps in your user name just PM me.
Talk to you soon!

Hey thanks for the warm welcome...its greatly appreciated. Im sorry that I havent been on in a while but I have been working closely with a family trying to regain they're rights to visitation of the fathers biological daughter. Its kind of messy, however the legal system is somewhat impressed that I dont like loopholes and I can site many laws that seem to be forgotten over time. I must also state that they also dont like these facts either. I come across many people that dont like what they do for a living be it an attorney, judge, etc...and I find myself wondering how it can be that some one can be so blahh in such an exciting field. I am very passionate in what I do and plan on being so for the rest of my life. I hope to someday become that "attorney no one wants to go up against" because my passion is so overwhelming. I will continue to fight for families and fathers but more so for the children involved. Some tend to forget about their little voices. I know that children of all ages know what they want but are told that they are too young, immature, or confused. We must listen to our kids. If not they will turn resentful and eventually they will find ways to rebel.

We need a whole new wave of warriors like you working as attorneys and advocates in the courtrooms in the best interest of children and families, not for the best interests of greed and corruption! Keep up the great work and let us know how things are going where your at and the obstacles you are dealing with......and your successes! Children and families first!
