Hello Everyone,
I have decided to post my story here after much thought and consideration.
My story begins a couple of years ago. My son came home from work to find his finance and children gone. A couple of weeks later he broke the news to me (i dunno the "MOM" word seems to hold some power and for some reason he didn't tell me right away) My son had 2 beutiful girls. At the time one was 2 and the youngest had just turned a year. It all started over a silly argument and she decided she wanted out. I might add that they were both very young (22). Needless to say i am a young grandmother but still more experienced in life than my son.
I was then informed that she had told him he couldn't see the girls and that he had an obligation to pay child support. My son was devestated, he told me he couldn't live without seeing his girls. He desperately wanted his family together. She was unreasonable and wouldn't even tell him where she had put the children in daycare. Eventually we went to court, there she sat poor pathetic helpless Mom (notta, i didn't feel that sorry for her after what she had put our family through) We submitted several letters of character references in my son's behalf from family members and friends including mutual friends that they had both shared. We also took grandparents, greatgrandparents, sisters, and aunts and uncles. We sat right at the front and looked right at the judge. In the end my son was awarded his 50/50 time with the girls. Too this day, i am convinced that she thinks she did no wrong.
I know i gave a short version of the story here, but i am here to support the rights of children. They have a right to BOTH Parents, as well as a Right to know their extended families and the Right to have a relationship with them.
Our battle goes on however, they had gotten back together recently for a period of 8 mths which i supported as i felt if they could work it out it would be best for the children. However she broke it off again with him a couple of mths ago, and the most recent news is a couple of weeks ago she informed him she was pregnant(after apparantly being on the pill). Since then my son received an annonymous e-mail stating that my son wasn't the only person she had been sleeping with and that he may not be the father. Now, if he isn't broke enough, he needs to get a DNA test done. My advise to Women, don't trick men into sleeping with you and get pregnant so you can get a raise! My advice to Men, keep it in your pants unless your in an extremely solid and committed relationship!
*1ST - THE CHILDREN PAY THE MOST
* 2ND- ONE PARENT USUALLY DOES NOT HAVE THE SAME RIGHTS AS A PARENT AS THE OTHER PARENT
*3RD - GRANDPARENTS, AUNTS, AND UNCLES PAY THE COST TOO!
You will either like me or hate me!
Cheers
